• Changes in the NRP™ Algorithm
• Elimination of Evaluation of Amniotic Fluid in Initial Rapid Assessment
• Use of Supplemental Oxygen During Neonatal Resuscitation
• Use of Pulse Oximetry

NRP student completion process:

• A person seeking NRP provider status obtains an NRP Textbook and DVD, and self studies the material. They may seek clarification of concepts they are unclear on from an NRP instructor, however the bulk of the educational process is the learner’s responsibility.
• The learner then completes an online examination. A hard copy of the examination is no longer available
• Upon successful completion of the online examination, the learner will print out a certificate of completion
• Then they must present it to their NRP instructor in order to enter the course
