The PALS Provider Manual is for use by a single student and provides information needed before, during and after class. A code within the manual also provides access to the PALS student website, which contains additional information and reference materials to help students successfully complete course requirements.  Students will always have access to the website once the code is entered.  It includes 1 (one) PALS Pocket Reference Card Set (Product #90-1053; also sold separately), 1 (one) sheet of tab labels, and 1 (one) PALS Precourse Preparation Checklist Card (4” x 6.5”).

• Course Details:  A series of simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation and team dynamics.

• Written exam and skills test:  For successful course completion, students must demonstrate skills competency in all learning stations, pass the 1-and 2-rescuer infant BLS skills test & 1-and 2-rescuer child BLS with AED, and pass the 2 PALS core case scenarios (1 cardiac and 1 respiratory or shock). They also must pass the written test with a score of 84% or higher
